Holovast and Utiva deliver FliT, a UK Government funded AI talent programme
FliT (Fast-tracking London's AI Talent into Tech, also referred to as the London AI Career Accelerator) places assessed AI specialists into 30 London SMEs and onboards them on the Holovast platform. Funded by the UK Government through TechFirst, delivered with lead partner Utiva.
London, UK - 26 September 2026: HOLOVAST Ltd is delivering FliT (Fast-tracking London's AI Talent into Tech, also referred to as the London AI Career Accelerator) with lead partner Utiva, a UK Government funded programme that places trained, assessed AI specialists into 30 London SMEs, with a focus on manufacturers, and makes their first weeks in the business productive.
FliT is funded through TechLocal: Connecting Local Talent to Local Tech Jobs, a competition within TechFirst, the UK Government's flagship tech skills programme. TechLocal is funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and delivered by Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation.
Running from July 2026 to March 2027, the programme assesses 150 candidates and places 50 of them into entry-level AI roles, with at least 40% of places for women. Utiva finds and prepares the talent; each placement is then supported for six months.
Holovast leads the onboarding and employment-support work. Each new hire's first weeks in role are mapped into a guided onboarding journey on the Holovast platform, built from the employer's own approved sources and completed through web or tablet, with augmented reality where it suits the role. It is a programme delivered on Holovast, not a separate platform or AI engine, and employers that see the value during FliT can take the same guided approach to their own shop floor when they are ready.
